原本為期兩年的「工作假期」(working holiday) 變了在長駐在英國工作,皆因享受離家很遠的感覺。

有時候與家人相距遠一點,大家的關係反而會近一點。

倫敦也吃到超美味燒味


本人頗喜歡吃燒味,全瘦叉燒是我小時候最愛,然後就是燒鵝或燒鴨,再來就是脆皮燒肉。

在倫敦多次吃燒味的水準都強差人意,總是覺得這裡的叉燒和燒肉怪怪的,跟在香港吃到的不同,有時也十分懷念美心或大家樂的燒味。

每個倫敦人都說「文興」(Four Seasons) 的燒鴨最好吃,聽說它聞名得連香港來的旅行團導遊也會提議團友外賣一份上飛機吃。早前終於有機會一試,果然名不虛傳!我沒吃過香港的庸記燒鵝,但就覺得文興燒鴨十分美味,皮脆之餘肉又多汁,很好味啊~

吃過了燒鴨,「燒味癮」加劇,隔個星期到唐人街 Imperial China 飲茶時又點了燒肉拼燒鴨。這酒樓是我在倫敦的首選酒樓,點心好吃之餘又比食物品質差不多的皇朝 (Royal China) 便宜一點,帶外國人朋友去見識一下中國點心一定不會失禮。

想不到這裡的燒肉如此出色,我差點連舌頭也吞下去,吃了一件又一件,實在是既滿足又驚喜。我記不起在香港哪裡吃過這麼好吃的燒肉!

但在倫敦始終找不到像樣點的叉燒...

因為英國有d酒樓ge 叉燒唔係燒 而係浸熟~

Thank you for the share. Haven't eat 燒味 for a long while....

I need to recommend a place to you if you like dim sum. It's in Camden near Chalk farm call 王府井. Their dim sum is really really good, even nicer than the one from Hong Kong. The most important thing is they are doing half price on Mon-wed evening.

I go there with friends almost like once every month, and it just cost us more or less GBP 10 each.

對啊... 暫時仍未找到倫敦有哪裡吃叉燒是跟香港一樣的... 不過Imperial China的燒肉真的很出色,你有機會的話一定要試!

Thanks for your recommandation!! I will have a try later. For the half price promotion, do they offer half price on everything on menu? Or just dim sum / siu choy?
